
Insurance Officer
Role Summary
We are seeking an Insurance Officer to assist in the administration and maintenance of all company insurance policies, as well as to ensure optimal handling of claims settlements.
Responsibilities
- Keep updated database of all insurance policies.
- Filing claims, policies, and related documents.
- Follow up with employees for medical claims and reimbursements.
- Submit claims to the insurance companies.
- Follow up with the insurance companies on claims statuses.
- Examine claims and verify insurance eligibility, as well as record any charges and other payments.
- Collect and investigate all incidents reports.
- Ensure that all claims are closed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a related position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Insurance or any other related field.
- Basic knowledge of rules and regulations related to all lines of insurance is a plus.
