Leadership is something we continue to learn through experience, through one another, and sometimes through the people who make learning genuinely enjoyable.
Over 100 hours of training, 20 Coral Directors and Managers took part in the Leadership Excellence: Skills for Effective Management program, delivered in partnership with the Lebanese American University‘s Academy of Continuing Education (LAU ACE).
Led by trainer Hicham Jadaoun the sessions explored people management, emotional intelligence, decision-making, stress management, and conflict resolution, with plenty of room for discussion, shared experiences and different perspectives.
Hicham brought knowledge and experience to the program, but also humor and an ability to connect with the people in the room. The atmosphere was relaxed, conversations were open, and participants found themselves genuinely looking forward to the sessions.
And somewhere along those 100 hours, something else happened.
Colleagues got to know each other differently. Conversations continued beyond the training sessions, new connections formed, and people learned as much from sharing their own experiences with one another as they did from the program itself.
The learning didn’t end with the final session either. Participants went on to share what they had learned through mentoring and guidance, passing some of that experience on to colleagues across Coral.
Congratulations to all 20 participants on completing the program, and a warm thank you to Hicham Jadaoun and LAU ACE for being part of an experience our people enjoyed, learned from and wanted to share with others.
