Coral Teams Review Environmental Management Plan

20 July 2026

Coral’s HSE Department held an internal briefing on the company’s Environmental Management Plan, bringing together teams from across its operations to review how environmental requirements are applied in daily work.

The plan addresses the potential environmental impacts of fuel storage, handling and related activities, with measures to prevent pollution and protect air, water, soil and surrounding ecosystems. It is designed to support compliance with local regulations and is aligned with relevant UN Global Compact priorities.

The framework covers 11 focus areas organized under three pillars and draws on ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards:

• Air, Water & Ecosystems: water management, air pollution, chemical spills and ecosystem protection.
• Energy & Decarbonization: energy use, low-carbon products and renewable energy.
• Responsible Operations: waste and circular economy, road transport safety, decommissioning and community engagement.

The session concluded with a practical Waste Identification & Management workshop. Teams from different operational areas mapped their waste streams, identified opportunities for improvement and discussed challenges encountered at their sites.

The briefing aimed to help employees understand their responsibilities under the plan and apply its requirements consistently.
