At Coral, safety is not an obligation. It is a culture.
The company’s Health, Safety, and Environment team – composed of 50 trained professionals – operates with a single priority: prevention before reaction.

Coral’s firefighting network is among the most advanced in the region. Designed based on studies conducted by the British company Angus Fire, which brings over a century of expertise in oil storage protection, the system reflects global best practices.
The company maintains water and firefighting foam reserves at double the required capacity – the largest stock in Lebanon – ensuring readiness for any potential scenario.
Automated detection systems, water curtain technologies, and continuous monitoring tools operate around the clock. On-site emergency response teams are permanently stationed at facilities, trained in early detection and rapid intervention protocols.
In addition, strict Permit-to-Work systems and safety dashboards reinforce operational discipline across all departments.
This proactive approach minimizes risk, protects employees, safeguards neighboring communities, and preserves the environment.
For Coral, safety is not a checkpoint – it is a mindset embedded in daily operations. This is the story Coral is telling – a story we will keep writing through our policies, our partnerships, and above all, our people. It’s not the end of the story. It’s only the beginning of the next 100 years.
